Whether you’re coping with a long-term injury, degenerative joint issues, muscular pain or post-surgical recovery, Natalia Laing provides specialised Pilates Rehabilitation programs to restore function, improve recovery and give you a renewed sense of overall well-being.
With over 20 years of experience treating spinal and disc injuries, she has developed a unique Pilates-based method to stabilise, support, and ultimately repair injury-prone areas, particularly for clients living with back chronic pain.
This process combines fundamental Pilates exercises, targeted stretches, and manual fascial releases to alleviate muscle tension and build stability around the affected area.
With a holistic approach to rehabilitation, we aim for both immediate pain relief and sustained improvement in mobility, enhancing the quality of your life.
Our tailored Pilates rehabilitation programs offers a comprehensive approach to healing and recovery.
Since 1995 Director Natalia Laing has been dedicated to helping clients recover from disc injuries and return to daily life, work, and even sports within weeks.
Her innovative, Pilates based method combines manual therapy, myofascial release, and carefully tailored fundamental Pilates exercises designed to build core stability and manage pain, empowering clients to understand and manage their condition.
Diagnosed with a severe back injury and degenerative issues herself due to her athletic and dance career, Natalia’s own journey of recovery shapes her unique, compassionate approach.
She knows firsthand the importance of understanding the injury and cultivating confidence in recovery. By targeting key areas for strength and flexibility, her methods offer both immediate relief and long-term stability.
Natalia’s approach is ideal for those diagnosed with herniated discs. Her personalised Pilates sessions give her clients experience lasting improvements in mobility, comfort, and resilience giving a new awareness to their bodies.
A herniated disc, often referred to as a slipped or ruptured disc, occurs when the inner gel-like core pushes out through the disc’s exterior.
This leads to irritation of nearby nerves, resulting in discomfort and conditions like sciatica. Without proper care, herniated discs can severely impact daily life, making a targeted treatment plan crucial for recovery.
Are you ready to take the first step towards relieving your back pain and regaining strength? Let Natalia Laing guide you through a proven personalised rehabilitation process.

Natalia Laing began her journey in Pilates training and bodywork in 1996 when her sister Melissa Laing opened the first Pilates studio in their hometown of Adelaide, South Australia. Melissa was trained by Pilates guru Alan Herdman in London, a first-generation Pilates Master.
This places Natalia as a third-generation Pilates professional in the lineage directly following the original students of Joseph Pilates.
Natalia earned her instructor qualifications from the Australian Pilates Method Association in 1999 and graduated as a professional contemporary dancer from the Adelaide College of the Arts in 2004.
With a passion for healing, Natalia has spent decades developing her unique method of Pilates and a comprehensive “toolbox” of healing practices including Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, deep tissue massage, scar tissue release, and energy work.
Specialising in back and spine rehabilitation, Natalia has a deep understanding of disc issues, informed by her own experiences with spinal degeneration from years of dancing. This personal insight enhances her ability to guide clients in repair, care, stabilisation, and maintenance for a pain-free life.e.
